Website: https://www.augle.ai/ Role Overview Augle AI is hiring an **AI \& Computer Vision Intern** to work on real-world systems for intelligent automation and manufacturing. This role is primarily focused on **AI engineering, backend development, data pipelines, LLM applications, and automation systems**, with a strong secondary focus on **computer vision research and deployment** for robotics and industrial applications. You will work on backend services, data workflows, AI pipelines, RAG systems, and model-driven automation tools, while also contributing to vision-based systems such as defect detection, pose estimation, and 3D reconstruction. Key Responsibilities * Develop backend APIs and services using **FastAPI** * Build browser automation and data collection workflows using **Playwright** * Perform data processing, cleaning, and transformation for AI pipelines * Implement **RAG pipelines** and **LLM-based agents** for intelligent workflows * Integrate and optimize **OpenAI** and **Gemini** APIs * Design and manage databases using **MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Neo4j** * Research and prototype **computer vision algorithms** for defect detection, pose estimation, and 3D reconstruction * Train, evaluate, and optimize deep-learning models using **PyTorch** or **TensorFlow** * Build intuitive GUIs and dashboards for operators using **PyQt, Tkinter, or React-based web UIs** * Collaborate with robotics and software engineers to deploy models on edge devices such as **NVIDIA Jetson** and **Intel OpenVINO** * Write clean, testable code and maintain technical documentation Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s program * Strong Python skills with experience in **FastAPI** * Hands-on experience with **Playwright** and data cleaning pipelines * Practical understanding of **RAG, LLM agents, and prompt engineering** * Experience with **MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Neo4j** * Solid foundation in **Computer Vision, Linear Algebra, and Probability** * Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning framework such as **PyTorch** or **TensorFlow** * Familiarity with **OpenCV**, **scikit-image**, or similar libraries * Experience with **Linux, Git, Docker**, and basic deployment workflows is a plus * Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail * Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced startup environment Why Join Augle AI? * Competitive stipend based on skills and experience * Work on cutting-edge AI, robotics, and computer vision technology * Gain hands-on experience in both AI systems and industrial vision applications * Opportunity for PPO based on performance * Collaborative team of passionate professionals committed to innovation and excellence * Impactful work that drives real advancements in manufacturing technology Internship Details * **Location:** On-site, Pune (Bhosari) * **Duration:** 6 Months * **Work Days:** Monday to Saturday * **Working Hours:** 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM / Variable depending on workload (8–9 hours on average) * **Stipend:** Paid, depending upon applicant’s skill level * **Job Type:** Full-time Internship Ideal Candidate Profile This role is best suited for someone who is primarily excited about **building practical AI systems**, working on **backend \+ LLM \+ automation workflows**, and also wants to contribute to **computer vision-based industrial solutions** for robotics and manufacturing.
