Data Analyst Intern

If you are passionate about data, eager to learn new tools, and thrive in an energetic setting, this position is perfect for you! **Duties** * Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends and patterns. * Develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. * Support project management activities within an Agile framework, ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. * Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for database design and data integration. * Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend or VBA scripts to prepare data for analysis. * Contribute to the design and maintenance of databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and security. * Assist in documenting processes through Visio diagrams and maintaining detailed records of analyses performed. **Experience** * Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field. * Demonstrated familiarity with SQL for querying databases and performing analysis tasks. * Basic knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. * Exposure to programming languages like R or Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis. * Understanding of database concepts including database design principles and linked data architecture. * Experience with ETL tools such as Talend or scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell). * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively. * Familiarity with business analysis practices, project management methodologies, and SDLC processes is a plus. * Knowledge of analytics platforms like Looker or Oracle databases will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
