Metrology Technician Internship

**What to Expect** Location: Athens, Greece Time Type: Full Time Duration: 6 months Start Date: June 2026 We are seeking a talented Metrology Engineering Intern who will support the metrology activities in our team in Athens. **What You'll Do*** Assist in measuring mechanical parts and assemblies using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMM, OMM and Optical Scanner. * Support dimensional and visual inspections of components against engineering drawings and GD\&T standards requirements. * Design and implementation of jigs and fixtures for new product introductions. * Record, organize, and report measurement and inspection data accurately. * Help prepare inspection reports, first article inspections, and nonconformance documentation. * Assist with setup, operation, and basic maintenance of metrology equipment and fixtures. * Support gauge and equipment calibration tracking and verification activities. * Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to investigate dimensional issues and improve inspection methods. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized metrology or inspection area. * Maintain documentation of measurement results according to Tesla standards **What You'll Bring*** Currently enrolled in a degree for Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. * A basic understanding of GD\&T (ASME Y14\.5 standards) and the ability to read technical drawings. * Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) or metrology software (PC-DMIS, Calypso) is a significant plus. * Familiarity with standard measurement tools and inspection techniques. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * English fluently in speaking, reading and writing.
