Quality Assurance (QA Intern)

**1\. System Testing** * Perform manual testing on web/mobile applications based on user flows * Explore the system independently to understand features and behavior * Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and unexpected results **2\. UI/UX Testing** * Review user interface for layout issues, broken elements, or inconsistencies * Ensure responsiveness across different devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) * Check for clarity, usability, and overall user experience **3\. Bug Reporting \& Tracking** * Log issues clearly in tools like Jira * Include steps to reproduce, screenshots/videos, and expected vs actual results * Retest fixes and verify whether issues are resolved properly **4\. Basic API Testing** * Use tools like Postman to test API endpoints * Validate response data, status codes, and error handling * Support backend testing from a QA perspective **5\. Cross-Browser \& Compatibility Testing** * Test applications across different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) * Identify layout or performance differences **6\. Process Improvement** * Provide feedback from a user perspective to improve system flow * Suggest improvements in UI/UX and functionality **Qualifications** * Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field **Technical Skills** * Basic understanding of software testing concepts * Familiarity with web applications and user flows * Basic knowledge of APIs (REST) * Familiarity with tools like Jira, Postman (or willingness to learn) **Soft Skills** * Strong attention to detail * Good analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Clear communication skills (especially in reporting issues) * Strong sense of initiative and ownership **Good to Have Skills** * Experience in manual testing or QA-related projects * Understanding of test cases, test plans, and QA documentation * Basic knowledge of automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, etc.) * Exposure to Agile/Scrum environment Job Type: Internship Contract length: 3 months Pay: RM800\.00 - RM900\.00 per month Application Question(s): * What is your internship availability period?
