Software Engineer Intern

We have 8-month co-op opportunities with the Infoblox Internship Program for Software Engineer Interns to join our Engineering teams in Burnaby. In these roles spanning SaaS, on-premise, and platform development for our leading cybersecurity products, you will develop and deploy features for Infoblox's next-generation enterprise security solutions. Collaborating closely in a backend engineering team, you will have the opportunity to use what you have learned in the classroom in real business activities such as requirements gathering and analysis, design, feature implementation, deployment, operations, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art SaaS-based and networking solutions. **Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do** * Develop and deploy software for a large-scale, cloud-based SaaS solution using open-source technologies. * Develop unit and functional tests for Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment running under Jenkins. * Work closely with peer engineers, QA, and Support in a highly collaborative environment * Benchmark, optimize and fine-tune software performance **Be Prepared — What You Bring** * Experience programming in an object-oriented language such as Go, Java, C/C\+\+, Python * Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms * Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. * Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) * Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments **Education:** * Enrolled in 3rd or 4 year of bachelor's degree or enrolled in master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
