Quality Engineer

We prioritize quality, reliability, and real-world usability, ensuring that every product we ship meets high standards of performance and user experience. **Role Overview** We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer who can think critically, identify edge cases, and ensure product quality across web and mobile applications. This role goes beyond execution — we expect someone who can question assumptions, break systems, and proactively improve product quality before it reaches users. **Key Responsibilities** * Understand product requirements and create detailed test cases * Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications * Execute different testing types: * Smoke Testing * Sanity Testing * Regression Testing * Exploratory Testing * Black Box Testing * Identify bugs, edge cases, and usability issues * Create and maintain: * Test Cases * Defect Reports * RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix) * Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools * Validate bug fixes and ensure stability before release * Collaborate closely with developers for faster resolution * Participate in STLC phases (planning, execution, reporting) * Continuously improve test coverage and product quality **Required Skills** * Strong analytical and logical thinking * Understanding of: * SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) * STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) * Ability to write clear and effective test cases * Knowledge of defect lifecycle * Strong attention to detail * Ability to identify edge cases and unexpected scenarios * Good communication skills **Technical Skills** * Manual Testing fundamentals * Test Case Design \& Execution * Defect Reporting \& Tracking * Understanding of: * Smoke / Sanity / Regression Testing * Black Box Testing * Exploratory Testing * Basic API Testing (Postman) * Knowledge of XPath \& Locators * Automation Testing basics: * Selenium * Page Object Model (POM) * TestNG Framework * Data-Driven Testing * Familiarity with AI testing tools (TestCaseHub or similar) * Experience with tools like: * JIRA / ClickUp / Trello * Basic programming knowledge (Java preferred) **What We’re Looking For** * Someone who can think beyond obvious test cases * Strong problem-solving mindset * Ability to break systems creatively * Proactive and takes ownership of quality * Willingness to learn and grow in automation and modern QA * Someone who questions assumptions, rather than just follows instructions **Eligibility** * Interns with strong analytical skills * Freshers with solid fundamentals * Candidates with 0–2 years of experience **Work Details** * Interns with strong analytical skills * Freshers with solid fundamentals * Candidates with 0–2 years of experience **Hiring Process** * Screening * Practical / Logical Assessment * Final Discussion **What We Offer** * Work on real-world products * Strong learning environment * Exposure to manual \+ automation testing * Opportunity to take ownership of product quality **Note** We are not looking for passive testers.
