Role Description

**Job Summary** Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Management Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in project coordination, scheduling, and construction management while working alongside industry professionals. You will contribute to real projects, assist with planning and documentation, and learn the essential tools and software used in the field. If you’re passionate about construction and eager to build your career, this role is the perfect stepping stone to a future in construction management. **Duties** * Support project managers and site supervisors in daily construction activities, including tracking progress and coordinating tasks. * Assist with project scheduling using Primavera P6 or other construction management software to ensure timely completion of phases. * Help prepare and review construction estimates and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. * Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other software to document progress, manage RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders. * Participate in site visits to observe construction activities, safety protocols, and quality control measures. * Aid in preparing reports, schedules, and documentation for project meetings and updates. * Collaborate with teams on project coordination efforts to streamline workflows and improve communication across stakeholders. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and project management principles. * Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or similar tools. * Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. * Previous construction site experience or internships is preferred but not required. * Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team environment. * A proactive attitude with eagerness to learn about contracts, project coordination, and overall construction processes.
