Software Engineer/Computer Science - Remote Internship

As a Health Genie Engineer you will design, develop, and launch artificial intelligence into nutrition and health products to solve real world problems. You will be part of a small and fun team developing software and machine learning integration. **What You Will Be Doing** * Developing technological solutions for health care with predictive analytics and data-driven insights, including analyzing, coding, testing, documenting processes, and applications from detailed requirements * Collaboratively design, implement, and test software using cutting-edge technologies * Assist in gathering and refining requirements * Analyze requirements for discussion with team members * Creates or modifies software to adapt to requirements and direction from team lead * Read, understand, and troubleshoot code and how that translates into data * Review, test, and validate code, revising to eliminate errors in processing * Use agile development techniques * Participating in project-related administrative and technical meetings **What Are You Bringing To The Table** *Essential* * Degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent combination of training * Proficiency with Python, Java, and/or C\+\+ * Strong data structure and algorithm fundamentals * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Data mining knowledge and skills * Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills *Desirable* * Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning experience * Experience with deep learning frameworks * Familiarity with technologies such as Docker, SQL, NoSQL, Node.js, Spring, or Flask * Experience with big data data-flow tools * Experience with unit test frameworks * Experience working in a small team environment **To Apply:** Please send resume to **hellohealthgenie@gmail.com** and specify **Software** **Engineer/Computer Science in the subject line** of your message.
