The Role As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work directly under the guidance of our CTO and development team to help build and scale the ClassFindr platform. You will contribute to the development of our core product, including the AI-powered course matching engine, advisor workflows, and marketplace infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience building real features that impact students and institutions, while working in a fast-paced startup environment focused on launching a production-ready platform. This position could lead to a full time job and equity offer from a face paced StartUp. Who You Are You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with foundational coursework or hands-on experience in software development. Basic Qualifications * Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, APIs) * Experience with at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, or similar) * Experience working in an IDE (VS Code, Cursor, etc.) * Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub) * Ability to follow structured development tasks and document work clearly Preferred Qualifications * Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue3 preferred) * Experience building or consuming REST APIs * Exposure to cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred) * Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) * Understanding of authentication and user management systems * Interest in AI/ML applications in real-world products * Experience or interest in building scalable SaaS platforms What You'll Do Product Development * Build and contribute to core features of the ClassFindr platform * Support development of the course equivalency engine and matching logic * Assist in building advisor dashboards and student-facing workflows Backend \& Data Integration * Help design and implement APIs that power the platform * Work with structured and unstructured data related to courses and institutions * Assist in integrating third-party systems and datasets Frontend Development * Build responsive UI components for dashboards and marketplace experiences * Improve usability and performance of the platform Testing \& Debugging * Identify bugs and performance issues across the platform * Write and execute test cases to validate functionality * Support ongoing improvements and feature releases Collaboration \& Iteration * Work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams * Participate in sprint planning and technical discussions * Contribute ideas to improve the product and user experience What You'll Gain * Real-world experience building a live SaaS product from the ground up * Exposure to AI-powered product development and marketplace platforms * Hands-on experience with full stack development in a startup environment * Experience working on a product used by colleges and universities * Collaboration with a founding engineering and leadership team Pay: $1\.00 - $1,000\.00 per year Work Location: Remote
