Information Technology & Global Affairs Summer Intern (Unpaid)
Role Description
The Atlanta Council on International Relations (ACIR) is seeking an Information Technology \& Global Affairs Summer Intern for 2026\. Students passionate about the intersection of technology and global affairs are encouraged to apply.
**Internship Details**
* Core Program (8 weeks): June 1 – July 24, 2026
* Extended Option (11 weeks): May 18 – July 31, 2026 (college students only)
* Application Deadline: April 17, 2026
* Earliest Offer Date: April 24, 2026
* ***Part-time, unpaid internship***
**Responsibilities**
As an Information Technology Intern, you will:
* Support a website redesign and digital branding initiatives to expand global reach
* Enhance database performance and data integrity for effective communication
* Explore and implement AI tools to streamline operations and curate global content
* Track engagement through CSAT metrics and reporting
* Create engaging content, including short “how-to” videos for users and members
**Qualifications**
* Current student in the area of Information Technology, Global Affairs, International Relations, or a related area of study.
* Experience with Wild Apricot or other website builder software systems.
* Familiarity with database management.
* Ability to convey complex concepts and terminology in an easy, understandable way.
* Interest in International Relations and International Affairs.
* Ability to devote 2 months in a part-time, unpaid role
