Robotics Software Engineering Intern

Knightscope’s long-term mission is to make the United States of America the safest country in the world **Location: Onsite / Sunnyvale, CA HQ (This is not a remote role)** We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site. About the Role Knightscope is seeking B.S./M.S. interns to support software development for autonomous robotic platforms. You will work on real robot systems, contributing to software, integration, and testing. What You’ll Do * Develop and improve robotics software * Support integration, testing, and debugging * Work across perception, controls, and systems teams * Document software and workflows What We’re Looking For * Pursuing a degree in Robotics, EE, ME, CS, or related * Experience with C\+\+, Python, or similar * Familiarity with Linux * Interest in robotics and hands-on development Bonus * Exposure to ROS/ROS2 or sensors
