Product Design Intern

**Optivance Advancements** is a Singapore-based venture studio building stealth products across multiple industries, united by a focus on high-stakes, real-world use cases. Our products are designed for users whose decisions carry real weight, and we hold ourselves to a design bar to match. We're hiring a Part-time Product Design Intern to help shape how our products look, feel, and function. If you obsess over interaction details and **want your work shipped (not buried in a Figma file no one opens), read on.** **As an intern, you will:** * Own end-to-end design for assigned product surfaces — wireframes through production-ready Figma specs * Use AI tools fluently across the design process — from ideation and reference generation to prototyping, asset production, and shipping code-ready components * Translate product requirements into clean, opinionated interfaces that don't look like every other AI tool * Partner directly with the founding team and engineering to ship * Build and maintain components, tokens, and patterns within our design system * Study the best products in the world (Linear, Ramp, Anduril, Arc) and pull what works into our own * Run lightweight user testing and turn findings into concrete design decisions **You're a great fit if you:** * Are passionate about product design and have strong opinions about what "good" looks like * Think commercially — your design serves the business, not the other way around * Have a portfolio that shows taste, range, and shipped work * Are fluent in Figma (auto-layout, variants, component libraries) * Sweat the small stuff: spacing, typography, micro-interactions, copy * Welcome direct feedback and move fast Bonus: frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS, React, Tailwind), prototyping in Framer or code, or motion design (Spline, Rive). **Why Us?** * **Personal project support** — we'll consider and back your own ideas with funding, mentorship, and tools to help bring them to life * **Remote-first with flexible hours** — Singapore-based preferred for occasional in-person sessions * **Real ownership** — your designs ship in weeks, not quarters * **Founder-level access** — work directly with the CEO and CTO on product direction * **Frontier AI exposure** — voice AI, LLMs, and real-time systems in production * **Path forward** — strong performers will be considered for expanded roles as our ventures scale out of stealth Send your resume and portfolio through LinkedIn. **Portfolio is non-negotiable** — show us what you've made and how you thin Job Types: Part-time, Fresh graduate, Internship, Student job Contract length: 3 months Expected hours: No less than 16 per week Work Location: Remote
