Software Developer Intern

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building responsive, user-friendly web interfaces, work with RDBMS and wants hands-on experience working on real-world projects. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to build clean, functional, and scalable web applications while learning professional development workflows. **What You’ll Do** * Assist in developing responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript * Translate wireframes and UI designs into functional front-end components * Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code * Support integration of front-end interfaces with backend APIs * Help optimize applications for performance and mobile responsiveness * Participate in code reviews and implement feedback * Use Git for version control and collaborate through structured workflows * Learn modern front-end tools, frameworks, and best practices under mentorship **Who You Are** * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field * Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6\) * Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles * Familiarity with REST APIs and handling JSON data * Basic knowledge of Git and version control concepts * Basic knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQLite) * Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Good communication skills in English **Preferred (Nice to Have):** * Exposure to React.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks * Basic understanding of Javascript and TypeScript * Working knowledge of Linux based OS (Ubuntu, Fedora or RedHat) * Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS * Awareness of performance optimization techniques * Understanding of UI/UX design fundamentals **What You’ll Gain** This internship offers hands-on experience on live development projects, mentorship from experienced developers, exposure to professional development workflows and coding standards, opportunities to strengthen your technical portfolio, and the potential for a full-time opportunity based on performance. **Location:** Chandigarh **Duration:** June 1 - August 7, 2026 **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday \| 30 hours per week **Stipend:** Monthly stipend (based on skill level and portfolio) **Shift Timing:** Must be open to working within USA time zones (EST/EDT)
