Software Engineer Apprentices

### **Role Summary** We are hiring **entry‑level Software Engineering Apprentice** for a **1‑year full‑time internship** to work on full‑stack application development using **Java, Spring Boot, React, and databases** in an Agile environment. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Develop backend services using **Java \& Spring Boot** * Build UI components using **React** * Work with **databases (SQL / relational)** * Participate in **Agile/Scrum ceremonies**: Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning * Collaborate with **cross‑functional teams** (Product, QA, UX) ### **Required Skills** * Knowledge of **Java \& Spring Boot** * Hands‑on exposure to **React** * Basic understanding of **databases \& SQL** * Familiarity with **Git** and software development basics * Strong eagerness to learn and teamwork skills ### **Eligibility** * Final‑year students / recent graduates in **Computer Science, IT, or related fields** **ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker** If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
