Power Platform & AI Development Co-op Student

Compass Technology Canada is hiring a Co-op Student to support the development of internal business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform and AI technologies. You will help design and build an AI-driven help agent embedded within applications, enhance existing Power Apps, and contribute to interactive Power BI dashboards used across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience with real enterprise solutions and modern low-code and AI tools. Responsibilities * Build and enhance Power Apps (Canvas Apps) for internal users * Research and develop an AI-based in-app help agent * Create Power BI dashboards and reports * Work with technical and business stakeholders * Test, document, and iterate on solutions Required Qualifications * Enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related program * Interest in Power Apps, Power Platform, or application development * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Ability to learn new technologies quickly Assets * Knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse, or SQL * Interest in AI, copilots, or intelligent assistants Salary \& Hours * Hourly Rate: $22 – $30 per hour (based on experience and academic level) * Hours: Full-time, approximately 37\.5 hours per week Work Environment Hybrid / Remote: 3 days in office (Mississauga)
