QA Engineer Intern

Job Title: QA Engineer Intern (Tester) Company: CAPS Delivery Location: Hyderabad Duration: 6 Months Internship Job Summary: CAPS Delivery is looking for detail-oriented and curious interns who are interested in software testing and quality assurance. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with the QA and development teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This role provides hands-on exposure to manual testing, basic automation, API testing, and real-world QA processes. Key Responsibilities: Assist in writing and executing test cases for web and mobile applications Perform manual testing to identify bugs and usability issues Support basic automation testing using tools like Selenium (training provided) Assist in API testing using tools like Postman Report and track bugs using defect tracking tools Work with developers to reproduce and verify issues Perform basic database validation (simple SQL queries) Participate in regression and functional testing cycles Learn and support testing processes in CI/CD pipelines Assist in validating builds and deployments Required Skills \& Qualifications: Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing, SDLC, STLC) Knowledge of Java or any programming language (for automation basics) Familiarity with web applications and APIs Basic understanding of SQL Awareness of tools like Postman or similar Familiarity with Git/GitHub is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Good communication and willingness to learn Preferred Skills: Exposure to Selenium or any automation tool Basic knowledge of mobile app testing Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology Awareness of tools like JIRA or similar Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts What You Will Gain: Hands-on experience with real-world testing projects Exposure to manual \+ automation testing workflows Learning opportunity in API, database, and basic performance testing Mentorship from experienced QA engineers Opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance Eligibility: Final year students or recent graduates (B.Tech / BSc / MCA / equivalent) Available for a full-time 6-month internship Pay: Up to ₹15,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
