We are looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate or student to join our **Testing and Prototyping Engineering team** in Cameri (NO). As an Intern in **Cummins-Meritor** you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of 4 engineers and 10 technicians, focusing on testing activities that will shape the next generation of Cummins products. This role is designed to handle a significant workload within the Lab while providing a valuable, hands-on learning experience for a student or recent graduate.
**We offer a 6-month internship.** The job is fully onsite (no smart-working available).
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
* **Current Student or Recent Graduate:** Enrolled in or recently graduated from a MSc in **Engineering** (Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive preferred) we can also consider other degrees such as **Mathematical/Statistical** subjects.
* **Technical Basics:** Fundamental knowledge of testing procedures and familiarity with CAD modeling is preferred.
* **Language Skills:** Advanced level (B2/C1\) in both **Italian** and **English** is mandatory for communication with both shop floor staff and global technical teams.
* **Curious Mindset \& Proactive:** A strong desire to learn internal processes; attitude is more important than deep industry experience.
* **Attention to Detail:** Precision in data collection and report drafting.
* **Geographic Proximity:** Ideally located close to the plant to support the full-time on-site requirement.

**Responsibilities**
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* **Support Test Execution:** Assist Lab Engineers in the physical setup and performance of testing procedures on engines, components, and systems.
* **Technical Reporting:** Draft and maintain accurate technical documentation and experimental reports in **English** .
* **Data Analysis:** Support the team in analysis and calculation of key engineering indicators and statistical data aggregation.
* **Operational Collaboration:** Work directly with technicians and workshop staff to ensure test rig efficiency and safety protocols are followed.
* **Design Support:** Utilize **CAD** software to prepare sketches or simple manufacturing drawings as required by the lab team.
