The **Finance Intern** will work closely with the Finance team to identify opportunities where AI and data analytics can improve existing financial processes. This role is ideal for a motivated student with a strong interest in finance, data analysis, and AI tools who wants hands-on experience applying cutting-edge technology to real business problems. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the Finance team’s efficiency and will gain exposure to a fast-paced fintech environment. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Identify and document manual or repetitive Finance workflows that are strong candidates for AI assistance or automation * Design, build and test AI-assisted tools, data pipelines or reporting solutions * Support the Finance team with data analysis, financial report preparation, and ad hoc analytical requests * Research and evaluate AI tools and platforms relevant to finance use cases and present findings to the team * Collaborate with Finance team members to validate solutions and document process improvements **Skills \& Competencies:** * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus * Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and finance operations * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fully remote environment **Minimum Qualifications:** * Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. * Minimum GPA of 3\.0 preferred * Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May 2026 for the duration of the summer term * Prior coursework or project experience in data analysis, AI/ML, or financial modeling strongly preferred Fullsteam supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience, and background.
