Headquartered from US, Cynapse serves clients worldwide, redefining what's possible with video intelligence. **Job Description** We are seeking a talented and highly motivated **AI Research \& Development Intern** to join our AI Product group that delivers innovative Computer Vision solutions to global customers. You will conform to high standards and work in a cutting-edge, dynamic, and professionally challenging environment. **As part of your role you will**: * Implement practical solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methods, and Computer Vision (CV) models to solve real-world challenges. * Conduct rigorous experiments to validate model performance, including data preparation, evaluation, and benchmarking, ensuring reliability and accuracy. * Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems to test innovative ideas and demonstrate their feasibility and value. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field. * Familiar with machine learning and deep learning concepts, with hands-on project experience or strong interest in real-world applications. * Proficient in at least one programming language, and familiar with database systems, Linux environments, Docker, and Git version control tools. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, logical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills. **Duration:** * Available for at least a 6-month internship. * Able to work at least 4 days a week (Preferably full-time / 5 days a week). * We are flexible with start and end dates and allow flexibility to accommodate exams, leave etc. **Why join cynapse.ai?** * Hands-on experience working on cutting-edge AI projects. * Mentorship from experienced engineers and researchers. * Opportunity to build impactful solutions and contribute to meaningful projects. * Exciting work environment with flexible hours **Note**: Due to the nature of the role, the position is considered for candidates who are based in Singapore or have experience studying and/or working in Singapore.
