Junior / Entry-Level Software Developer (Contract) — AI Healthcare Platform (Remote)

Advanced Healthcare Revenue (AHR) is a startup healthcare revenue cycle management company building an internal AI-driven revenue intelligence platform. Our system analyzes claims, denials, payer performance, A/R aging, and operational workflows to improve financial outcomes for healthcare providers. We have already built a working internal front-end version and are looking for a developer to help transition it into a more secure, production-ready internal tool. We are seeking a **junior or entry-level software developer with strong fundamentals to help productionize an existing HTML/JavaScript-based platform.** This is not a build-from-scratch role. The platform is already designed and functional. Your role is to **secure, structure, and connect the system to real backend services**. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement secure authentication (Supabase or Firebase preferred, etc) * Connect front-end platform to a real database for persistent data storage * Ensure proper client/workspace data separation * Enforce role-based access control at the backend level (not just front-end) * Fix and stabilize data upload/import functionality (CSV/XLS/XLSX) * Integrate GitHub with Netlify for structured deployment * Add basic audit logging (user activity, uploads, report generation) * Maintain existing UI — **no redesign required** **Required Skills** * Strong understanding of JavaScript (Vanilla JS or light frameworks) * Experience with HTML/CSS-based web applications * Familiarity with Supabase, Firebase, or similar backend-as-a-service tools * Understanding of authentication and user session management * Basic knowledge of APIs and data handling * Experience working with GitHub **Preferred (Nice to Have)** * Experience with Netlify or similar hosting platforms * Experience handling CSV/XLS data parsing * Exposure to dashboard/reporting tools * Basic understanding of data security best practices **Project Scope** * Internal-use platform (not public SaaS at this stage) * No EHR integrations required * No complex enterprise infrastructure required * Focus is on stability, security, and functionality **Timeline** * Minimum engagement: 2 weeks * Expected completion: 2–4 weeks * Maximum engagement: 3 months (if extended for improvements) **What Success Looks Like** * Secure login system implemented * Data uploads properly stored and retrievable * Role-based access enforced at backend level * Platform is stable for internal AHR team use Pay: $25\.00 - $35\.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
