TrialMe
Nordics
frontend and/or backend developer
Role Description
**We’re opening up three project-based internship spots at TrialMe — and you can apply as a team.**
**TrialMe is a Gothenburg-based healthtech startup connecting women with clinical trials. We’re building technology that addresses one of medicine’s most persistent blind spots: the underrepresentation of women in research.**
**We’re looking for frontend and/or backend developers who want real-world experience on a live product. The three projects on offer:**
**1\. Trial Discovery Feature**
— A browsable, searchable view of clinical trials (non-AI) integrated into our patient-facing app, so users can explore trials beyond our active recruitment campaigns and request help enrolling.
**2\. Sponsor-Facing Portal**
— A web interface for trial sites and sponsors to view interested participants and manage appointments — think lightweight CRM meets recruitment dashboard.
**3\. Admin Portal \& CRM Integration**
— Improving our internal tooling to surface user data and app engagement, with a connection to our existing CRM system.
Please note: this is an unpaid position. We’re a small team doing meaningful work, helping women find and enroll in clinical trials they’d otherwise never know existed. We can’t offer a salary, but we can offer flexibility, real ownership, and the chance to contribute to something that matters. You will get to build your portfolio and gain hands-on experience with a production codebase.
You’ll work with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend.
Applying as a team (2–3 people) is welcome and encouraged for these projects.
If you’re studying CS, software engineering, or something adjacent and want to work on a product that actually matters, reach out or send your CV to carlotta.hillger@trialme.eu
