**Intern - Systems \& IT Infrastructure** **Location:** B'lore **Duration of internship:** 6 months **Note:** *This role is focused on IT infrastructure, hardware, networking, and end-user support, not a software development role.* **Roles \& Responsibilities** * Provision, configure, and assign laptops/desktops to users in line with standard build guideline * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and application-level issues on end-user devices * Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook, email access, and Microsoft Office activation issues * Install, configure, and maintain enterprise/business applications/tools * Perform basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN connectivity issues) * Set up new workstations and support device migrations, upgrades, and replacements * Install, reimage, and maintain Windows/Linux operating systems on user devices * Provide day-to-day IT support to employees ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction * Maintain and regularly update IT asset records in the in-house asset management system, ensuring accuracy of allocation, status, and lifecycle data for all devices and accessories * Automate routine and repetitive operational tasks **Skills** **Programming:** Basic scripting (Python/Shell) for automation of routine IT tasks (not software development) **Note:** *This role is focused on IT infrastructure, hardware, networking, and end-user support, not a software development role.* **Mandatory Skills:** * Strong fundamentals in computer hardware and peripherals * Networking concepts * - Windows Operating Systems, Linux (On-Prem) * - Strong fundamentals in computer hardware and peripherals * - Networking concepts * - Microsoft Office tools and email configuration using * - user and access management concepts in Active Directory * - Analytical and Problem-solving skills * - Internet and Wi-Fi operating basics**Others:** *Good communication skills, IT security basics, Interest in Dev/Ops and Cloud fundamentals* **Hands-on exposure to real world IT operations, Customer support, Servers, Enterprise and Custom Applications. DevOps environment and IT Infrastructure will be provided.** **Candidate Eligibility** * - *No Active Backlogs, Minimum CGPA of 7\.00 is required* * - *Bachelor’s degree in BCA, BSc (Computer Science), BSc (IT), Diploma in Computer Science / Information science, Hardware \& Networking or equivalent* * - *Must be good in at least one programming language* * - *Problem solving and Analytical skills* * - *Highly self-motivated; capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.* * - *Excellent communication skills with a proactive and adaptable approach to work* Pay: ₹20,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Where are you currently located/ based? * This internship is for 6 months in Bengaluru.
