### **What are your contributions to the team?**
* Work with the planning and inventory management teams and our technical team composed of a data engineer and scientist to build tools surrounding demand and scripts which will help manage the spare parts demand data.
* As part of our digital transformation, support the procurement team with automation tools :
* + Assist in migrating Synapse PySpark notebooks to Databricks notebooks.
* + Refactoring code into reusable, modular functions and parameterize notebooks using dbutils.
* + Data Validation \& testing outputs between Synapse and Databricks.
* + Translate Synapse SQL views to Databricks SQL.
* + Data Quality checks and monitoring.
* + Optimize Data Engineering pipelines
* + Develop SQL scripts to build views \& external tables using Databricks SQL
* + Maintain pipeline documentation and data flow diagrams.
### **How to thrive in this role?**
* 3rd, 4th year bachelor’s in computer or software engineering or 2nd year master’s degree in business intelligence or last session in AEC in business intelligence \& big data
* Skills and Interests:
* + Strong interest in data transformation and business intelligence
+ Proficiency in data tools:
+ Azure Databricks
+ SQL servers
+ Python (especially data transformation libraries such as Pyspark)
+ Microsoft Access (an asset)
* Knowledge about Azure Data Lake Storage
* Data warehousing
* Git (basic version control)
* Data visualization: Tableau or Power BI are an asset
* Understanding of cloud tools, with a focus on MS Azure (mandatory), GCP, etc.
* Speak and write in French and English
* Personal Attributes:
* + Autonomous and resourceful
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Strong ability to learn and adapt
**Boarding Information:**
* Location: Administrative Centre (CA)
* Duration: 8 months
* Flexible workplace-Hybrid
