**Software Engineer Intern**
(Summer 2026\) to join our team. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with excellent technical and communication skills. They must have a proven track record of developing high-quality software/firmware. If you're a creative thinker with a passion for development and design, we'd love to hear from you.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop firmware and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for new and existing products, including laser markers, spectrometers, analyzers, and medical devices.
* Create software solutions for in-house automation using robotic systems.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team (electronic, software, and optomechanical) at the forefront of innovation.
**Basic Qualifications**
* Pursuing a Degree in Engineering or a related technical field from a credible University with prior internship experience
* Strong proficiency in
**C\+\+**
and
**Python**
, following object-oriented programming principles.
* Experience developing firmware for
**STM32**
microcontrollers or similar, including use of timers, I2C/UART/SPI, DMA, ADC, and other peripherals.
* Experience in GUI design for desktop and/or embedded touchscreen applications.
* Ability to write clean, readable, and well-documented code.
**Bonus Qualifications**
* Comfortable working across abstraction layers, from low-level embedded systems to high-level system architecture.
* Experience with
**C#**
and
**.NET**
for desktop application development.
* Familiarity with TCP socket programming and cloud-based services.
* Experience with image processing
