Harness Engineering Intern

**About us:** Playo is a leading global sports activity platform with over 5 million users across 5 countries, that connects players, venues, trainers, and brands in one full stack ecosystem across 50\+ sports. We operate at the intersection of consumer technology, social networking, marketplaces \& real-world logistics and are building a scalable, multi-vertical sports-tech venture with a focus on long-term sustainability and global dominance. **The Opportunity:** With coding agents now writing a meaningful share of the codebase, “quality engineering” means designing the system of guides and sensors that wraps every change contributing to Playo’s stack. We’re hiring a Harness Engineer Intern to help build this system. **Roles and** **Responsibilities** **:** * Build the behaviour harness for Playo’s services — end-to-end and API test automation across our stack and AI-driven test generation. * Build feedforward guides and feedback sensors that catch regressions early and self-correct. **Requirements** **:** * Strong programming fundamentals in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python * Working understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, Docker and Github Actions * Hands-on exposure to at least one E2E framework (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) or API testing tool (Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Supertest) via projects / internships * Demonstrated use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) on real projects — bonus if you’ve authored AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md files, written custom Skills, or built/used MCP servers * Passion for sports and fitness * Excitement about working in a fast-paced startup environment **Next** **Steps** **:** Believe you have what it takes to join us on the playfield?
