As a DMG MORI-invested venture based in Shibuya, we leverage a powerful combination of AI, IoT, and Cloud architecture to build the autonomous, sustainable factories of tomorrow. ***The Opportunity*** We are looking for a highly motivated **Robotics Intern** to join our multicultural team in Tokyo. In this role, you will work directly on our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), contributing to the advancement of factory automation and the realization of next-generation smart factories. ***What We Are Looking For*** We are looking for candidates who are currently pursuing a degree in Robotics, Computer Science or similar and have hands-on experience in at least one of the following technical tracks: * **Machine Learning** : Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) applied to robotics, reinforcement learning and sim-to-real transfer. * **Manipulation** : Knowledge of kinematics, motion planning (e.g. MoveIt, OMPL), and control theory for robotic arms. * **Perception** : Computer Vision, Object Detection \& Segmentation (e.g. YOLO, CNN), 3D Point Cloud Processing. * **Navigation** : Experience with SLAM (Lidar-based), path planning and localization (ROS Navigation Stack/Nav2\), sensor fusion. * **Technical Stack:** Familiarity in building scalable systems using Rust and React, with a focus on Docker-based orchestration and IoT protocols like MQTT and Zenoh. ***Core Qualifications*** * **Education** : Currently pursuing a degree at a Japanese University or Graduate School. * **Programming Skills** : Proficiency in one of the following is essential: Python, Rust, JavaScript, C\+\+. * **Global Mindset** : Fluency in English is required as our working environment is international (Japanese proficiency is a plus but *not* required). * **Collaboration** : Ability to work effectively in a diverse, agile team environment. ***Employment Details*** * **Type:** Paid Internship (On-site) * **Location:** Shibuya, Tokyo * **Start Date:** Flexible ***How to Apply*** To be considered for this role, please submit your application along with an updated Resume.
