Job Title: Intern – Data \& Analytics Company: Pfizer Function: Global Logistics – Strategic Analytics Location: Chennai, India (Hybrid) Duration: Internship (24 weeks) Role Overview: The Data \& Analytics Intern will be part of Pfizer’s Global Logistics – Strategic Analytics. The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights, scalable analytics solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL * Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau * Support AI and advanced analytics use cases including data preparation and exploratory analysis * Partner with business, GBS, and Digital stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions * Assist in defining and tracking KPIs and performance metrics * Contribute to analytics standardization, automation, and reusable frameworks * Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with Pfizer standards * Prepare insights and presentations for technical and leadership audiences Required Qualifications: * Degree pursuit or completion in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Life Sciences * Hands-on experience with SQL * Experience in data visualization tools * Basic understanding of AI / Machine Learning concepts * Strong analytical and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: * Exposure to Python or R * Experience with large datasets or cloud platforms * Familiarity with healthcare or pharmaceutical data * Understanding of data governance and analytics lifecycle What You Will Gain: * Hands-on experience in global logistics Analytics * Exposure to enterprise-scale analytics and AI initiatives * Mentorship from experienced Pfizer professionals * Opportunity to contribute to high-impact business and patient outcomes Why Pfizer: Pfizer’s GBS and Digital organizations drive enterprise transformation through analytics, automation, and AI, enabling teams to focus on delivering breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.
