Cyber Security Intern

* A Cyber Security Intern supports IT security teams by monitoring systems, analyzing potential threats, and conducting vulnerability scans. Key tasks include log analysis, patching, security documentation, incident response support, and testing, requiring knowledge of networking, Linux/Windows OS, and security tools. They assist with risk assessment and security awareness initiatives. * Key Responsibilities * Security Monitoring: Analyzing security logs and alerts (SIEM tools) to detect potential threats and incidents. * Vulnerability Assessment: Assisting in scanning and identifying network or system weaknesses. * Incident Response: Supporting teams in responding to and mitigating security incidents. * Security Administration: Assisting with user access management, policy maintenance, and documentation. * Testing \& Research: Conducting penetration testing and researching the latest security trends. * Technical Support: Performing tasks like malware removal, machine imaging, and updating threat feeds. * Required Skills \& Qualifications * Education: Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related IT field. * Technical Skills: Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, network protocols, cryptography, and OS proficiency (Linux/Windows). * Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Tools: Exposure to security tools such as firewalls, EDR, and SIEM systems is a plus. * Tamil candidates only * Chennai candidates and Freshers only Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹8,086\.00 - ₹32,727\.29 per month Benefits: * Food provided * Work from home Work Location: In person
