Software Testing Intern

**Job Title: Software Tester** **Company Name: Codigix Infotech Pvt. Ltd.** **Location: Pimpri, Pune.** **Experience: Fresher** **Duration: (6 Months) (Full-time opportunity based on performance)** **Job Summary** We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical **Software Tester** to join our team.The ideal candidate should have strong observation skills, understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to ensure smooth functionality of applications before deployment. **Roles \& Responsibilities** * Review and analyze system requirements and specifications. * Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications. * Identify, document, and track bugs/errors using proper reporting methods. * Perform functional, regression, usability, and UI testing. * Coordinate with developers to resolve defects and verify fixes. * Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and testing reports. * Ensure applications meet quality and performance standards. * Conduct cross-browser and device compatibility testing. * Participate in software release and deployment validation. * Maintain testing documentation and daily status reports. **Required Skills** * Basic understanding of Software Testing. * Knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies. * Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools and reporting. * Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. * Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Basic knowledge of web and mobile applications. **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. * Internship or prior experience in software testing is an added advantage. * Knowledge of Automation Testing tools is a plus.
