Designer - Internship (Summer)

We are on the lookout for a passionate, switched-on Graphic, Workflow, UX/UI Designer - Internship to join us on our mission to help create the software-powered products, platforms, and new businesses. We don't just build things - we build teams. **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for user interface design of mobile apps and websites * Translate abstract concepts into simple and elegant design * Able to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines * Create mock-ups for proposed project pages and update them as needed * Discover requirements, needs and insights through immersive user research, workshop, user interview, focus group, etc. * Achieve desirable solution through design thinking and methodology such as creating personas, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, user testing, etc. * Validate design concepts with stakeholders by creating rapid prototypes * Collaborate with developers to meet project requirements * Work with a team of designers and developers to deliver the best experience for cross platform applications **Requirements:** * Willing to learn and good team member * Preferred Design background in Interaction Design, Multimedia or in Design strategies/services/interactions or relevant disciplines (Year 2 or 3 FT Undergraduate Students welcomed) * Responsible, detail-minded and able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment with tight schedule * Knowledge in graphics \& design tools such as Figma/Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Grok/GPT/Flux/Kling/Midjourney/NanoBanana is a plus * Knowledge in responsive design and usability best practices (wire frames and prototypes, UX process) * Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, iOS \& Android app interface is a plus * Experienced in user research, prototyping and user testing methodologies * Knowledge of design and prototyping tools to generate and visualize idea * Able to lead conversations and presentations to clients or stakeholders * Fluent written and spoken English or Chinese. * Design Portfolio is a plus. * This program is under ITC STEM Internship Scheme, participating Universities in Hong Kong: (Please provide your **Full Name**, **Student ID**, the **University Email** for the **Eligibility Verification** process.) * The University of Hong Kong * The Chinese University of Hong Kong * The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology * The Hong Kong Polytechnic University * City University of Hong Kong * Hong Kong Baptist University * Hong Kong Metropolitan University * The Education University of Hong Kong * Lingnan University * Only candidates located in Hong Kong will be reviewed and recruited. * Travel Allowance may be provided due to the length of the internship. * We may invite candidate(s) to have an online interview.
