Software Engineer (Back End)

**Company Description** Part of Caesars Entertainment, ZeroFlucs creates the software that makes the sports betting industry tick. Our flagship product is a platform for providing Same-Game based pricing, but we also provide content generation, odds aggregation and other trading automation services. **Role Description** *We're hiring a software engineer!* Based primarily in Brisbane, QLD - with an office in Teneriffe, the ZeroFlucs engineering team are responsible for end to end delivery of sports betting solutions - from design and development, to deployment and operational support. You'll be interacting with data scientists, traders and customers in multiple time-zones to deliver solutions that need to be rock solid, reliable and performant. **General Qualifications** * Computer Science, Programming, and Software Development skills * Experience with Back-End Development and Object-Oriented Programming languages * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Excellent problem-solving skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field * Experience with agile management tools, such as Asana. **Specific Technologies \& Experience** Whilst not required, experience in the following technologies will be highly preferred: * Experience in the wagering and gaming industry. * Golang programming * GraphQL * GRPC * Kubernetes * NoSQL Databases (Scylla, Cassandra, Mongo or similar) * Python \& Data Science * Terraform \& DevOps Tooling * Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, OCI or others)
