The **Nexxis Management Suite (NMS)** provides comprehensive control and management capabilities for the Nexxis ecosystem. This management suite sets up, manages, and monitors AV-over-IP streams between video encoders and decoders, facilitating seamless configuration and management. We are further expanding the software, supporting new Nexxis devices, features and preparing the software for **AI and accelerated computing.** You can learn more about Nexxis here and NMS here . **The Role: Backend Java/Kotlin Software Engineer** We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to strengthen our Nexxis NMS team. As a key member of our small agile development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services that power the Nexxis platform. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and test backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin. * Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and improvements for the Nexxis NMS. * Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. **Your Profile** * Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. * Experience : Young gradudates with some practical exposure in backend software development with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin **Technical Skills** * + Exposure or interest to grow in Java and Kotlin programming languages. + Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures. + Experience with Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks. + Familiarity with RESTful API and GraphQL design and development. + Familiarity with concepts related to accelerated computing (e.g., GPU programming, high-performance computing) is a significant advantage. **Competencies** * + Critical thinking + Drive for results ( Independently as well as with the the team) + A passion for technology and continuous learning.
