Junior Java Developer ( hybird Bucharest)

Working on a large-scale Big Data Intelligence Platform built on a distributed microservices architecture, focused on processing high-volume data streams in real time. The platform enables advanced analytics and supports data-driven decision-making across multiple business areas. The system leverages modern technologies such as Java (17/21\) with Spring Boot, Kafka for event-driven processing, Elasticsearch for high-performance search and indexing, and Docker/Kubernetes for containerization, along with integrations with external systems. **Key Responsibilities** * 6 months- 1 year of hands-on experience developing microservices using Java and Spring Boot * Design and implementation of event-driven data pipelines using Kafka * Working with Elasticsearch for efficient indexing and fast querying * Contributing to system architecture, performance optimization, and scalability * Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code * Collaborating with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Data, QA, Frontend) * Participating in code reviews and technical discussions **Core Skills** * Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture * Kafka and event-driven systems * Elasticsearch * REST APIs and distributed systems * Docker, CI/CD pipelines * Troubleshooting in distributed environments **Additional Exposure** * Interest in end-to-end development (Spring Boot \+ React) * Exposure to Kubernetes * Familiarity with Python or Node.js * Experience with data processing / AI-ML concepts * Awareness of security best practices in distributed systems
