DevOps Intern

* Job Description – DevOps Intern We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Intern to support our development and operations teams in automating, monitoring, and maintaining software deployment processes. This internship provides hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, server management, and modern DevOps tools and practices. * Roles and Responsibilities 1\. CI/CD Support * Assist in configuring and monitoring CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. * Support automation of build, testing, and deployment processes. * Help troubleshoot deployment and integration issues. 2\. Cloud Infrastructure Assistance * Learn and assist in managing cloud services such as AWS / Azure / GCP. * Support basic cloud monitoring and infrastructure maintenance activities. * Assist the team in deploying applications on cloud environments. 3\. Server \& Environment Management * Support server setup and configuration under guidance. * Help maintain development, testing, and staging environments. * Monitor system health and report performance issues. 4\. Automation \& Scripting * Assist in writing basic automation scripts using Shell, Bash, or Python. * Help automate repetitive operational tasks. * Learn infrastructure automation concepts. 5\. Containerization Basics * Work with Docker containers and images. * Assist in container deployment and management tasks. * Gain exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts (preferred). 6\. Monitoring \& Logging * Support monitoring activities using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack. * Help track application uptime and logs. * Assist in identifying and escalating issues. 7\. Version Control \& Collaboration * Use Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for source code management. * Collaborate with developers and QA teams for deployment activities. * Participate in team meetings and sprint activities. 8\. Security \& Best Practices * Follow security and access management guidelines. * Learn best practices for environment variables, credentials, and deployment security. 9\. Documentation * Maintain documentation for deployment steps, scripts, and troubleshooting guides. * Assist in preparing operational and technical documents. --- Required Skills * Basic understanding of Linux commands and operating systems. * Familiarity with Git and version control concepts. * Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus. * Understanding of Docker and CI/CD concepts is preferred. * Interest in automation and scripting (Shell/Python/Bash). * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to learn new technologies and DevOps practices. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
