UNPAID Summer Internship — Full Stack Web Developer Location: Port Orchard, WA (Remote) Duration: Summer 2026 Compensation: Unpaid — see below for what you get instead --- ABOUT THE COMPANY We manage 6,500 tenant lots across 97 mobile home communities, managing information for over 10,000 residents. We are building a custom property management platform from scratch to avoid a $360k/year commercial alternative. This project has real implications and real goals. We have real data, real tenants, and real legal compliance requirements under Washington State law. --- THE TECH STACK Backend: Java Spring Boot or C# .Net Frontend: React or Angular Database: PostgreSQL or MySQL --- WHAT YOU WILL BUILD - Rent roll and ledger viewers — display tenant and payment data cleanly across 97 parks - Compliance notice generation — legally required notices driven from the database - Notice tracking dashboard — audit trail for rent increase notices sent at scale - Multi-park reporting — roll-up views across a large portfolio - AI document ingestion — OCR and structured extraction from scanned leases and tenant files --- WHAT YOU GET - A production deployment in your portfolio — not a toy project, not a mockup - Direct mentorship from lead developers with full-stack, database, and compliance experience - Real exposure to compliance, enterprise data, and property management domain knowledge - A strong professional reference - Experience with a tech stack that maximizes your employability --- WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Recently graduated or currently completing a CS, software engineering, or related degree - Comfortable with at least one backend language (Java or C#) and/or one frontend framework (React or Angular) - Familiar with relational databases - Able to take ownership of a feature and see it through to shipped - Bonus: REST API design, Git workflows, document OCR, or AI tooling experience - Can work well with others without a great deal of oversight This internship is unpaid. We are targeting recent graduates and current students. If your school offers academic credit for internships, we are happy to support that process. No compensation is offered or implied.
