Software Engineering Intern (STEM Internship Scheme, Summer 2026)

**The successful candidate will** * Assist in developing and maintaining web applications. * Build and improve frontend features using React / Next.js / TypeScript. * Support backend API development using Node.js / Express. * Assist in iOS application development and API integration where relevant. * Support testing, debugging, documentation, and code refactoring. * Participate in hardware/software integration tasks, including device data, MQTT, WebSocket, or indoor positioning-related workflows. * Use AI tools effectively to support development, debugging, documentation, research, and productivity. * Work with the engineering team to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline. * **Eligibility for the STEM Internship Scheme.** * Good understanding of basic software development concepts and SDLC. * Able to write clean, readable, and maintainable code. * Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to debug technical issues. * Responsible, self-motivated, and able to learn independently. * Comfortable working in a fast-moving project environment. * Good communication skills and willingness to work with both software and hardware teams. * Able to make appropriate use of AI tools while maintaining code quality, accuracy, and security awareness.
