Coding and Programming (STEAM) Trainer - Intern

At Aimsity, we are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Coding Trainer Interns to support our technology and STEAM education programmes for students aged 7–17\. This internship provides hands-on experience in teaching, mentoring, classroom management, and programme delivery within the education and tech industry. Whether you enjoy coding, problem-solving, or working with students, this role gives you the opportunity to strengthen your technical and communication skills while making a meaningful impact on the next generation. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies through real projects, training sessions, and hands-on teaching experiences. **What You’ll Do** * Conducting coding and technology classes for students aged 7–17 * Teach and support subjects such as Python, Scratch, Game Development, Web Development, AI, and other STEAM-related programmes * Guide students through coding exercises, projects, and hands-on activities * Support classroom management and help create a fun, engaging, and positive learning environment * Provide encouragement, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students * Prepare lesson materials, activities, and learning resources * Conduct and support workshops, competitions, events, and education programmes when required * Work closely with the education team to improve lesson delivery and student engagement * Monitor student progress and assist students with different learning needs * Assist with operational and administrative tasks related to classes and programmes **What We’re Looking For** * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree students (or fresh graduates) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields * Basic coding knowledge in Python, HTML/CSS, Scratch, or related technologies * Passionate about teaching, mentoring, and working with students * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Responsible, patient, and willing to learn * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Comfortable speaking and engaging with students * Willing to travel within Penang for classes, workshops, events, and school programmes * Must have own transport and valid driving license * Willing to support the team during programmes, events, and operational activities when needed **Internship Details:** * **Location:** Georgetown, Penang * **Duration:** 3 to 6 months * **Allowance:** Up to RM1,000/month * **Start Date:** May/Jun 2026 **Why Join Us** * Gain real-world teaching and coding experience * Develop communication, leadership, and presentation skills * Build confidence in teaching and public speaking * Strengthen both technical and soft skills * Be part of impactful programmes that inspire the next generation through technology and innovation **Ready to Apply?** Send your CV to **aimsityhr@gmail.com** Or contact **Jaylee at 017-5972988** Job Type: Full-time Pay: RM500\.00 - RM1,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Opportunities for promotion Language: * English (Preferred) * Mandarin (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 100% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
