Role Description
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst intern to join our organisation. **Duties**
* Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing processes.
* Develop detailed business process models and workflows using tools such as Visio.
* Analyse large datasets employing SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
* Design and optimise databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles.
* Create visualisations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
* Manage projects through the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
* Collaborate with IT teams on system enhancements, integrations, and data migration activities.
* Assist in the development of reporting tools and automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for process optimisation.
* Support business units by providing analysis skills that facilitate strategic planning and operational improvements.
**Skills**
* Proven expertise in Business Analysis with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies.
* Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
* Experience in database design and management using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
* Strong visualisation capabilities using Tableau and Power BI.
* Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Familiarity with Visio for process modelling and documentation.
* Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
* Knowledge of business processes optimisation and system integration techniques.
