Internship for Automation Engineer (OEE + IoT + PLC)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Automation Engineer Intern** to join our team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to industrial automation, process optimization, software integration, IoT systems, ERP automation, and smart manufacturing technologies. The intern will work closely with engineering and software teams to improve operational efficiency through automation solutions. Key Responsibilities * Assist in designing, developing, and testing automation workflows and processes. * Support integration between systems such as ERP, IoT devices, databases, and industrial equipment. * Assist in configuring and troubleshooting automation tools, sensors, PLCs, or industrial communication systems. * Help develop scripts, dashboards, or workflows for process automation. * Participate in system testing, debugging, and performance monitoring. * Support documentation for automation projects, SOPs, and technical reports. * Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. * Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for process optimization initiatives. * Participate in Industry 4\.0, smart factory, or digital transformation projects where applicable. Requirements * Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in: * Mechatronics Engineering * Electrical \& Electronics Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Automation Engineering * Robotics * Computer Engineering * Information Systems / Software Engineering * Or related fields * Basic understanding of automation systems, control systems, or industrial processes. * Familiarity with one or more of the following is an advantage: * PLC Programming (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, etc.) * SCADA / HMI Systems * IoT and sensor integration * Python, JavaScript, C\+\+, or scripting languages * SQL databases * API integration * ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is a plus * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. * Good teamwork and communication skills.
