Coesia operates in 34 countries with 20 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2025\. **About the Role** As a junior simulation engineer, you will join a dynamic team working on a cutting-edge project for transportation lines in semiconductor manufacturing. You will be based in our Bologna site, collaborating with an experienced software team on the virtual commissioning of a complex transportation system. Main responsibilities include: * Traffic management of electric vehicle fleets (AVG) operating within the warehouse and across production line machines (FlexSim). * Monitoring and updating KPIs periodically, preparing data for costumer presentations. * Interfacing with FlexSim experts onsite and worldwide. * Working in a continuous improvement environment. **What You Need to be Successful** * Ongoing or completed studies in engineering (computer science, automation, mechanical, electrical). * Basic experience with virtual commissioning and/or digital twin tools. * Willingness to learn and improve. * Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team. * Basic knowledge of software development (JAVA, Phyton, C, C\+\+), DB (e.g., Oracle, Mysql, AWS) and JRE framework. * Basic knowledge of graph routing algorithms (like Djikstra or Prim) for complex applications and basic knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms are a plus. * Fluency in Italian and English. *Coesia is an equal-opportunity employer and embraces diversity and inclusion.*
