Junior/Regular Security Tester – Industrial Automation Systems (f/m)

**Your responsibilities:** * Conduct fuzz testing on industrial automation devices and communication stacks * Develop and expand our internal fuzzing tool, implement support for new protocols, enhancing existing fuzzing modules * Analyze protocol specifications and understand how frames, fields, and message structures are built * Document findings, vulnerabilities, and test results * Collaborate closely with development team **Our requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, information technology or similar field * Strong programming skills in Python (experience with tooling, automation or protocol handling is a plus) * Very good knowledge of Linux, including command line workflow, system configuration, and debugging * Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level) * Practical experience working with communication protocols: understanding how protocol frames are structured, encoded, and transmitted * Analytical mindset and interest in cybersecurity testing * Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies * Willingness to occasional business trips to HQ in Germany **Nice to Have:** * Experience with fuzzing frameworks or vulnerability research * Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT) * Basic understanding of embedded systems or industrial automation hardware
