Internship – AI for Neural Signal Processing in Healthcare Innovation (f/m/x)

**Your Role**

For our team of researchers and engineers, we are looking for a student to support our concept work on AI-driven solutions for future medical applications in neuroscience and healthcare.

**You will**
* Develop and integrate cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for future ophthalmological and other medical devices
* Gain hands-on experience with multiple neural signal modalities
* Analyze, research, test, and implement core functionalities for multi-modal data specific to neuroscience and healthcare
* Research solutions in scientific and patent literature and tailor solutions to our needs
* Conduct and evaluate experiments on large scale real-world datasets
**Your Profile**
================
* A bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a master’s program in computer science, biomedical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning
* Advanced programming experience in Python; ideally prior experience in C/C\+\+
* Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
* Ideally, domain knowledge in neuroscience, electrophysiological data analysis
* Ideally, experience in software engineering and development with Microsoft Azure
* Excellent organization, problem-solving \& communication skills (English and/or German)
* A passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
