Data Analyst Intern

This role is perfect for aspiring data professionals eager to develop their technical skills and deepen their understanding of analytics tools and methodologies. **Responsibilities** * Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. * Support the development of interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data analysis projects. * Participate in Agile project management practices, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions. * Contribute to the design and maintenance of databases using SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems; assist with database design and optimization. * Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for statistical analysis, automation, and advanced data modeling tasks. * Support the documentation of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes and ensure compliance with best practices in analytics projects. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. * Strong understanding of SQL for querying databases; experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is preferred. * Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. * Basic knowledge of programming languages including R and Python; experience with VBA or Bash (Unix shell) is a plus. * Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend or similar platforms for data integration. * Understanding of database design principles and experience working with linked data sources. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights. * Effective communication skills for presenting findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. * Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile is desirable but not required.
