**Job Overview** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our dynamic analytics team. This role is perfect for aspiring data professionals eager to develop their technical skills and deepen their understanding of analytics tools and methodologies. **Responsibilities** * Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. * Support the development of interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data analysis projects. * Participate in Agile project management practices, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions. * Contribute to the design and maintenance of databases using SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems; assist with database design and optimization. * Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for statistical analysis, automation, and advanced data modeling tasks. * Support the documentation of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes and ensure compliance with best practices in analytics projects. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. * Strong understanding of SQL for querying databases; experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is preferred. * Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. * Basic knowledge of programming languages including R and Python; experience with VBA or Bash (Unix shell) is a plus. * Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Talend or similar platforms for data integration. * Understanding of database design principles and experience working with linked data sources. * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into actionable insights. * Effective communication skills for presenting findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. * Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile is desirable but not required.
