* As a **Design Automation Intern** within the engineering systems team, you are responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent automation tools that streamline CAD design workflows, technical document processing, project tracking, and data synchronization. * Leveraging Python, CAD APIs, VBA/iLogic macros, and local AI models, you eliminate repetitive manual tasks in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Advance Steel environments. * This role merges mechanical design principles with software engineering and AI-driven intelligence to boost productivity, ensure consistency across assemblies and drawings, and enable real-time data flow between Smartsheet, Excel, and engineering outputs—delivering scalable solutions that save engineers routine effort.
