Architect & Interior Designer (temporary and internship)

Job Title: Architecture \& Interior Designer (Temporary) Company: Modular Interiors LLC Location: UAE Job Type: Temporary (internship) visa type: own visa/sponsored visa Job Description: Modular Interiors LLC is looking for a motivated and creative Architecture \& Interior Design Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about design, eager to gain hands-on experience, and willing to work on real-time projects across residential, office, and retail spaces. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in preparing 2D \& 3D drawings and design concepts * Support space planning and detailed joinery drawings * Work on DCD and DSO drawings as required * Conduct site measurements and develop drawings in CAD * Assist in creating mood boards and client presentations * Support material selection and finishes coordination * Help with BOQs with accurate quantity take-offs * Maintain records of approved materials and samples Requirements: * Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or equivalent 2D/3D software * Basic knowledge of space planning and interior detailing * Understanding of joinery drawings is an advantage * Knowledge of DCD/DSO regulations is a plus * Ability to take site measurements and translate into drawings * Familiarity with materials, finishes, and presentation techniques * Basic understanding of BOQ preparation * Good organizational and documentation skills Preferred Experience: * Exposure to residential, office, or retail interior projects (academic or internship) Skills: * Creative thinking and attention to detail * Good communication and presentation skills * Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines Work Location: In person
