Here is what that looks like day to day: * Writing, tuning, and optimising SQL queries that feed business reporting, track operations, and surface insights that inform real decisions. * Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, working across services like RDS, S3, Lambda, and EC2 in a live production environment. * Developing backend solutions in collaboration with teams across the business, translating operational needs into reliable, well-structured systems. * Integrating platforms and services so that data moves cleanly across the organisation without gaps or bottlenecks. * Investigating performance issues and shipping improvements, because slow and broken are not acceptable outcomes. * Writing documentation that is actually useful, the kind that helps your teammates and your future self. **What We Are Looking For** Strong candidates come from all kinds of backgrounds.
