We are looking for a Student Data Analyst Intern to join our team and support growth experimentation, data analysis, and the data engineering team.
**What does a Student Data Analyst Intern do?**
The Student Data Analyst Intern will support data-driven growth and product optimisation initiatives by collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, eager to explore patterns, and interested in understanding how analytics drives product and marketing decisions.
You will work closely with the Growth Engineer on experimentation projects while also supporting the Data Engineering team with structured data tasks and pipeline-related work.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1\. Growth Experimentation \& Analytics**
● Support growth experiments by collecting, cleaning, and analysing performance data.
● Assist in designing experiment tracking frameworks and dashboards.
● Assist in identifying trends, anomalies, and optimisation opportunities within product and marketing datasets.
**2\. Data Collection \& Big Data Support**
● Assist in scraping and aggregating large datasets from approved sources for research and analysis.
● Clean and preprocess structured and unstructured data for analysis.
● Organise datasets to support modelling, reporting, and experimentation efforts.
● Document data sources, definitions, and methodologies clearly.
● Support data validation and quality assurance processes.
**3\. Data Engineering Collaboration**
● Work with the Data Engineering team to support data pipeline tasks and reporting infrastructure.
● Assist in maintaining dashboards and internal analytics tools.
● Contribute to improving data accessibility and visibility across teams.
● Help automate repetitive data collection or reporting processes where possible.
**Qualifications \& Skills Required:**
● Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
● Knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data manipulation.
● Understanding of statistics fundamentals (hypothesis testing, regression basics, confidence intervals).
● Ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely.
● High attention to detail and accuracy.
**Nice to Have:**
● Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas or NumPy.
● Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
● Experience working with APIs or web scraping tools.
● Exposure to experimentation frameworks or growth analytics.
● Interest in energy-tech, climate-tech, or industrial systems.
