Role Description
Join the CSP GMA AI Innovation team to contribute to the experimentation and development of concrete use cases based on generative AI, agentic AI, and large language models (LLMs). This internship is a unique opportunity to grow in an environment that combines applied research, solution engineering, and strategic innovation.
This role will involve you in the design, experimentation, and structuring of concrete AI solutions, with a focus on business value. You will also contribute to the adaptation and experimentation of an existing agentic AI platform to support operational and business process automation needs, enabling the orchestration of systems capable of reasoning, planning, and autonomously accomplishing complex tasks.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Agentic AI and Agent Orchestration
* Contribute to the exploration and prototyping of agentic AI and intelligent automation solutions capable of executing complex multi-step tasks.
* Adapt and experiment with agentic AI solutions using an existing platform to automate selected operational processes and tasks, while promoting reusability, orchestration, and experimentation.
* Participate in the analysis of challenges related to supervision, security, traceability, and the limitations of autonomous systems.
Exploration and Design of AI Use Cases
* Identify and experiment with use cases based on LLMs (assistants, search, automation)
* Contribute to the design of RAG solutions leveraging internal data
* Participate in the evaluation of approaches (response quality, relevance, limitations)
Structuring and Value Creation
* Document use cases, approaches, and results
* Contribute to the creation of reusable frameworks (patterns, best practices)
* Participate in structuring an AI offering (presentations, client cases, demonstrators)
Collaboration
* Work with technical teams to understand implementation constraints
* Communicate and simplify AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders
**Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role**
* Undergraduate or master’s student in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field.
* Strong interest in generative AI, LLMs, intelligent automation, and agentic systems.
* Basic knowledge of software development and concepts related to APIs, integrations, and application workflows.
* Basic knowledge of Python or other relevant programming languages.
* Interest in emerging approaches related to AI agent orchestration and process automation.
* Ability to quickly learn new tools and technology concepts.
* Ability to structure, document, and clearly communicate work completed.
* Initiative, autonomy, and curiosity for innovation.
Additional Assets
* Familiarity with tools or concepts related to generative AI or AI agents (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or equivalent).
* Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, or application integrations.
* Participation in academic, personal, or extracurricular projects related to:
* generative AI,
* automation,
* software development,
* intelligent assistants.

CGI offre une estimation raisonnable de la fourchette salariale pour ce poste. Your future duties and responsibilities
IA agentive et orchestration d’agents
* Contribuer à l’exploration et au prototypage de solutions d’IA agentive et d’automatisation intelligente, capables d’exécuter des tâches complexes en plusieurs étapes.
* Adapter et expérimenter des solutions d’IA agentive à partir d’une plateforme existante afin d’automatiser certains processus et tâches opérationnelles, tout en favorisant la réutilisabilité, l’orchestration et l’expérimentation.
* Participer à l’analyse des enjeux liés à la supervision, la sécurité, la traçabilité et les limites des systèmes autonomes.
Exploration et conception de cas d’usage IA
* Identifier et expérimenter des cas d’usage basés sur les LLM (assistants, recherche, automatisation).
* Contribuer à la conception de solutions RAG exploitant des données internes.
* Participer à l’évaluation des approches (qualité des réponses, pertinence, limites).
Structuration et valorisation
* Documenter les cas d’usage, les approches et les résultats.
* Contribuer à la création de cadres réutilisables (patterns, bonnes pratiques).
* Participer à la structuration d’une offre IA (présentations, cas clients, démonstrateurs).
Collaboration
* Travailler avec les équipes techniques pour comprendre les contraintes d’implémentation.
* Vulgariser les concepts IA auprès de parties prenantes non techniques.
**Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role**
* Étudiant(e) au baccalauréat ou à la maîtrise en informatique, génie logiciel, intelligence artificielle, science des données ou domaine connexe.
