Data Scientist Intern

Responsibilities: * Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define business problems and objectives that can be addressed using data-driven techniques. * Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring its quality and reliability for analysis. * Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights. * Develop predictive models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions to solve business problems and optimize processes. * Interpret and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations. * Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques, tools, and technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance data analysis capabilities. * Collaborate with software engineers and IT teams to implement data-driven solutions and integrate models into production systems. * Conduct A/B testing and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and drive continuous improvement. * Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, as needed. Requirements: * Bachelor's or higher degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a strong track record of applying data science techniques to real-world problems. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with knowledge of data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn). * Solid understanding of statistical concepts, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques. * Experience with SQL and database management systems for data extraction and manipulation. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. * Knowledge of data engineering principles and data preprocessing techniques is desirable. * Job Type: Full-time Pay: From ₹10,000\.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: * Bangalore City, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * total work: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
