Role Description
**Job description**
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development, architecture, and maintenance of our teleassistance system, a critical component supporting our flagship product, Tiera. You will have full ownership of the stack, translating user and business needs into scalable, robust, and functional code. We are looking for an ambitious developer who thrives in an environment with high responsibility and the freedom to shape technical directions.
**Hard Requirements**
* Can come to the office on the TU/e Campus in Eindhoven on own cost at least 50% of the working time.
* Full-time or near-full-time.
* Available to start on April 1st or May 1st.
**Responsibilities**
* Full ownership of the development and maintenance of the teleassistance system’s technical stack.
* Designing, building, and deploying scalable backend logic and responsive frontend features.
* Actively participating in architectural decisions within a flat-structured team, bringing your own ideas to the table.
* Utilizing AI tools to enhance your workflow and productivity (Note: pure "AI Vibe Coding" or over-reliance on AI without understanding the underlying output is not permitted). We're an AI-native company across the board, but still it needs to work, each time.
**Qualifications**
* 0-3 years of professional full-stack experience. Ambitious junior developers with proven smarts and capability are highly encouraged to apply.
* Strong proficiency in TypeScript (or JS).
* Experience building applications with NestJS and/or NextJS.
* English language proficiency (Native or highly proficient second language).

**Preferences**
* Experience setting up, configuring, and optimizing infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a big plus.
* Familiarity with our current teleassistance stack: LiveKit experience is preferred. Knowledge of WebRTC is a great bonus for future self-hosted deployments.
* We use WebSockets, but if your background is primarily in REST, that is perfectly fine.
* Experience using Grafana for system monitoring and dashboards.
* No specific degrees required; we value proven ability and drive over formal education.
